I'll still be putting most of my journal-type stuff on Wordpress, though.

I'll still be talking to you on wordpress, you're the only one I talk to there and I like the site so I'll stick around I'm terrible about remembering to go read your journal though, I'm sorry about that. I'm just so used to automatically being notified about it like you are here on hootoo.

Yeah, that is a drawback. There are ways around it, but I've been too lazy to arrange it properly.

I fully intend to get to your blog today sometime...

Is there a way around it? How does that work?

And theres no rush at all, I'm just hanging around and comming online between doing laundry and having traumatic conversations with my mum.

There's some sort of Thing called Bloglines... I keep meaning to join up and set it up so I get told when there's a new post or new comment somewhere, but it all seems like hard w*rk.

It certainly does! I wonder if I'd be able to figure it out... Probably not. Maybe if I just left a sticky note up reminding me to go look... Much less technical.

There's always the option of setting a time for yourself - making a regular event out of visiting Wordpress on a Saturday morning, for instance.

I'm making a real effort. I've been avoiding the comptuer lately and I forget how much I like comming and posting things. Right now though I'm trying to do it every day... We'll see though... Perhaps once a week was a good idea.

All our talk of food has made me very hungry. I'm going to go and se what I can find to eat. And in the interests of what we're talking about I'm going to make a genuine effor to eat something not too terrible.
