And thanks for taking on my entry.

And what perfect timing as tomorrow is the date Broadstairs Folk Festival starts, and I'll be there from 3pm tomorrow!

I don't, currently, have any photos of the Hooden Horse, simply because I have sen them so often and for many years. However I will have by a week Friday. Will select the best and forward.

A number of points.

Kentish Horses

This may have replaced the use of a horse's skull, which appears to predate Hoodening, and can still be found in certain traditions in the UK and amongst Morris sides2.

A side–bar needs to be added concerning the Marsh Gate Inn which holds a special fondness in this Researcher's heart, being a hostelry that welcomed and promoted folk events, especially its Boxing Day lunchtime Morris celebration. It has its own Hooden Horse, found in Hoath close by, dating from 1900.

Not sure what side-bar means. Did I write that? Anyway, after a little further research, and enquiries of the family, here's a correction.

Actually the Guide Editors address is better, being as this is a Guide Entry. If they are large pixel size, please would you send them as single attachments per email? We need as large an image as possible, but there is a limit on the size of attachments. If you're going to send us a lot of (large) images to choose from and put them all in the same email we don't get anything

seeing as MMF is an Official h2g2 Photographer, and has had his photos on many an Entry, it may be easier to invite him to the Trello Artists board, where he can upload his photos directly.

Hi Matt, I am not an Artist. This is a decision for Tavaron, else she will think I am stepping on her toes, even if it was within my power (it's not).

But it would be really good if you were able to ask to join the Artists' group MMF as decent photographs and artwork are in constant demand.

Ok. I'll see what I can do. Although, having a multitude of photos, my field is restrictive.
