Hello MMF
I'll just leave this here for now: A21989974 so you can go subscribe to the conversations. I'll return to subbing as soon as I'm in the right frame of mind
Thank you so much for Saturday. Days like that are so rare for me. It was one of the most special days of my life and I'll never forget it

I've started subbing, but I'm afraid RL and other things keep butting in. Birthdays and Bank Holidays bah! h5ringer's mother died this morning and I'm and
I hope you're OK I am thinking of you

to hear you are feeling
and
I know and understand the feeling, and hope you get back on an even keel soon.
It is good to know you are in contact with h5ringer, and hope you are giving him support as well.
I have spent today in Kew gardens, just to try and get my mental balanceback. It is tough, but is happening slowly.
I am grateful for everyone's support.
Just remember, take one day at a time, as no-one can do it except you, but don't lose your friends.
I know this from bitter experience, when I did. Now they just exist here!
I still drift in and out of HooToo, but daren't post, as any postings could be easily misconstrued.
I'll still pop around to the H2G2 Photographer's page when time allows.
Stay strong, and don't worry about the entry. It took long enough to write, so a while longer isn't going to hurt it.
your buddy,
MMF

In my own special way
You know, there's almost enough info in your lovely article on John Parrot for an entirely separate entry on him, would you like me to splice & dice and do the honours? It's your entry so you decide - I'm here to do your bidding

If you think it is good enough.
I just thought I'd be a little quirky regarding the entry, as the PTB's weren't specific about what the entry should be about.
Just 'Parrots' leaves plenty to choose from.

I have been through the entry and PR thread with a fine-tooth comb. I'd be ever so grateful if you would read it through and tell me if there's anything you're not happy with

Hi, GB.
Well done, and thanks for all the hard work.
Just spotted one typo:
>>Budgerigars are an exception, they are often found in groups ranging from the low hundreds up to a recorded flock of 25,000.<<
I think it should read:
>>Budgerigars are an exception 'AS' they are often found in groups ranging from the low hundreds up to a recorded flock of 25,000.<<
Other than that, a good job well done. Thanks.
(Just need to get a photo now!)

Thanks GB.
It appears to be 'stock' and is of a Cockatiel.
Not the best photo in the but who am I to complain?
Btw, the link to cockatiels needs removing as it goes to a dead page.
When I wrote the entry I didn't realise that I could only link to edited entries.
for that.

Yes, a parrot picture would have been better!
I can't do anything to the Entry now as I no longer have control, but as soon as it goes live I can have a word with a friendly Curator and have the cockatiel link removed

I have been trying to find someone who has an African Grey, as I would have thought that is the 'Classic' parrot that people think of.
I do have a couple of photos of Parakeets taken by my Dad which hopefully he could send to me.
Thanks for your help.
