Welcome to h2g2! 
I'm Shorty, and I'm an ace. What's an ace? Well, besides apparently having something to do with tennis, an ace is a member of the h2g2 community who volunteered to run around greeting newer researchers, such as yourself.
Now, I know how completely confusing this place can be at first, or second, or third... and that's why I made this page with a list of links to help you out: A621730
I'm sure you'll meet a ton of people who like the same movies and books you do. I myself thoroughly (can't spell) enjoyed Ice Age, and of course the Hitchhiker's book. 
One little thing, though. You said you were 15. Do you have parental permission to be on this site? Please let them know you're on here (it's part of the rules). Otherwise, be careful not to reveal your address, phone number, etc...
