Will it ever end?
Trin Tragula Posted Jul 27, 2004
Woah! That was a bit scary!
I mean, I've lost my PS before, played the "You're not logged on, yes I am, no you're not" game oodles of times ... but this time pretty much everything froze and the only link I could get to work was 'Who's Online':
"There are 0 researchers logged on"
What? None at all? What about me? I'm here! I'm here!

I tried to post earlier and got a tremendous lag... when I finally loaded the screen, instead of showing the thread with the new post, it showed me the Ask h2g2 conversation list!

Happened to me too. Possibly because they're doing some preparatory work for this?

I got the same....
I got ..
Hello unknown hitchhiker..
and underneath that...
hello maniacal vixen..
Glad I'm not the only one entering hitchhiker-cyber-twilight-zone, its like a bermuda triangle but not quite...
It seems to be taking forever to get to a converse then another ice age or two to post, but really only five minutes or so has passed..
Mebbe someone is messing with the time continuum?
*wanders off mumbling, with hair stood on ends*

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
