Thought I'd continue here as the joke thread has drifted enough 
Meets are great. Some people wear name tags and there's a prize for the best one (a much sought after h2g2 official t-shirt).
There's a lot of "You can be research xxxx, you're a girl/boy/welshman/etc". It's good fun.
The summer meet has been and gone, the winter meet is usually in January with copious amounts of drinking and a pub quiz taken from guide entries.
