Rockin' nickname. Every time i read it i get this nice little image of a monkey playing an (accoustic) guitar, with dark glasses and a cigar. And he's playing the guitar well as well. And I like the little t, it kinda breathes of relaxedness.

Why thankyou roadkill! Though I should not take the credit, that goes to Steve Cooper, the bassist in my old band BLIM. Who after a particularly long tone control tweakage on my part christened me.

Steve was a wonderful man, inspirational on a human as well as musical level, he moved to Abu Dhabi and unfortunately we lost touch. I would love to see him again.

Your nickname however, brings to mind darker imagery: A long haired collossus gloating over the devestation he hath wreaked upon a hedgehog or suchlike. Also whilst playing a guitar. Equally rockin tho'smiley - biggrin

The long haired bit I aim to carry out. Especially if it's greasy, and kinda matted. The animal bit I am less keen on. I just liked the name, I never really knew what it meant.

BLIM, was that the name, or an acronym?

I had a brief look for "BLIM" but I could only find some sort of gangsta rapper someone.

A further clue.......

Don't link it to music.

Although interestingly a band operates in the cincinati(?) area called blim and the guitarist has the same first name as me!smiley - laugh

Broken or loose mate, does it work electrically or is it not mounted right?

I left instructions for the latter on the Hello roadkill thread!smiley - smiley

It's worked itself loose somehow, possibly because once in my more naive days I fiddled around with the screws.
