I don't know you, and I doubt you know me. I'm Vip, I'm currently just idly clicking on links. It's the whole seven-degrees-of-separation doohdah. Or something.

Hi.

Uh... *looks desparately round for conversation*

Cinnamon spiders, eh? Cinnamon coated or cinnamon fed?

Hmm, well I'm not sure... it's a Jack off Jill song, and apparently there's a "cinnamon spider" cocktail... though the person who told me that may've been winding me up...
Sorry I've been a long time, I have AS exams, all very stressful!

Ain't they the bitch. I was the first year to go through them. When is this country going Baccalaureate??

I'm just finishing essays for my second year degree exams. Eeeek!! It's crazy, I tell you. But at least it looks like all will be okay in the end... *phew*

What subjects are you doing?

English, Religious Studies, History, Psychology. Though the psychology hardly counts - we have a bad teacher and a bad syllabus so I tend to try to sleep through it.
How about you?

Music, clarinet and voice. I've *literally* just handed in my final assignments (a day early, hurrah!) so feeling pretty good. Now I only have to remember how to play my clarinet for my recital and all will be peachy.

I'm going to crash and burn. smiley - wah

Hey ho. La vie. I did music, physics, maths. I did do chemistry for a bit, but I could cope with all of my music stuff (outside school) as well, so I quit. Oh, and the delight that is general studies at AS. I even got an A. Amazing. I don't even remember taking it.

smiley - wow I used to play clarinet! but I gave up a while back.

smiley - hug Good luck!

Lordy lord, general studies! *laughs with great scorn* In one of the modules I had maybe 3 actual lessons and in only 1 did we learn anything... and I was away for that one.

I think we had some. Or was that Key Skills? It was actually pretty fun sometimes. We just had debates and discussions. It could be quite interesting. However, none of what we looked at came up in the exam. I can bullshit for England. smiley - winkeye

Clarinets are great. I think of myself as an extreme clarinet specialist; I play bass and Eb. All rather good fun.

Which part of the country are you from? I'm currently in Birmingham, but I come from Oxford.

I'm in Devon, originally from London. Ooo if you're in Birmingham you might know coventry? If so what's it like, I'm thinking of going to Warwick University.

Can't say I know anything about the place. I was stuck there on a train once, if that counts.... no, I don't think it does, really, does it. smiley - winkeye

What are you looking at reading?

English, definitely. I was thinking of psychology but I was put off by my psych teacher at the moment who gradually becomes less and less coherent. luckily she's leaving. smiley - somersault

Psychology diappoints a lot of people, it seems. Although those who stick at it like it, there seems to be a lot of students who find out that psych is a whole lot different to what they expect. Quite a lot more biology, for a start. I don't know much more than that. If you can find Acid Override online, he'll be able to tell you more. smiley - smiley

But as for English, I know even less. Books, and analysing, and essays and stuff.
