I see what you are trying to do here. And I applaud your effort. Had a similar thought myself so launched this site just recently - http://electrichermit.proboards22.com/index.cgi. It is still under construction, but the facilities are pretty good.
I shall try to find my way back here from time to time. Good to keep in contact.

yes i can see that you blokes are trying to get it started, but your last post was E.H 18 hours ago. And this is a reply 18 hours later.
It is going to be difficult to go from BBC MB"s where the postings are continuous to this page where there is no threads. I will drop in from time to time and hope it will improve. Good Luck

It works just like the other boards you could start some subjects as well. All it needs is a reasonable level of active participation even from those who would normally use the old dying message boards.

These things are always slow to start. It's a bit like having the first fax machine. Technically sound, but not much use until a few others join in!
