A child during the war

I am Dutch by birth and grew up in Holland during the second world war. I lived in Meppel when the Germans invaded Holland and saw them coming into Meppel on Friday afternoon May 10th 1940.I was then 8 years of age. The next year we moved to Sneek a small town in the province of Friesland and lived there till the war finished in 1945. Thus as a child I have got a lot of memories , and to be honest it was quite an interesting period of my growing up
