Some might say that Chris hahaha Personally,I prefer to say'I dabble'.Hahahahaha I love painting,just don't get the chance to do as much as I'd like ,you know how it is ? At the moment,I'm into dry stone walls hahahahaha To paint ,I mean,I don't REALLY go around banging into them or anything ,YET !!! hahahahaha Yes,it is beautiful,I love it up there at this time of year,the autumnal shades,it's just breathtaking ! I used to live in Penrith many years ago,well,not THAT many years ago,with my parents.I didn't appreciate it one bit then,now I'd do anything to be back there.Just goes to prove how youth is wasted on the young eh ? hahahaha xxxxxxxx

My Mum and Dad are into Painting ..... they do a lot of the New Forest scenery ..... but they dont use paintbrushes ... 
..
They use a knife to scrape the paint around ...
Something that I wish I could do

Good for them and the New Forest is a another beautiful place we have here in England.I too use a small pallette knife for different paint effects,lots of different brushes.Well done to your parents,it's a very relaxing hobby.Expensive,but worth while ! I remember visiting a place called Lyndhurst (I think thats the spelling) in the New Forest,it boasted one of the smallest churches in England and I seem to remember the only place where the bibles were actually chained down !! Very pretty.Hve you ever tried to paint Chris,a painting I mean,not walls etc.? xxxxxxxxxx

Lyndhurst is only a stones throw from me 
....... No I havent tried Painting ... at least not since I left School 
...
Was never any good ...... Mum and Dad must have used up all the arty genes and left me with an abundance of sporty ones

Not too bad ....... my team of little lads won a friendly golf match 5-1 ...... I played on Sunday ... scored 34 points and finished second ...
Watched 'Troy' Saturday night ................. slept all day today (monday that is) ..... ..

Phew,a busy week-end for you then ! I had a fabulous day Sunday,peaceful,tranquil,weather perfect,and,I actually did some sketching !! Back to normality now and REAL life !!!! Work work and just a bit more work to keep me out of trouble hahahaha xxxxxxx
