what do we do?
We meet and greet new researchers make them feel at home,and help show them there way around h2g2,and help you find your feet.

Before you go to explore them though if you care to go to <./>UserDetails</.> you can change your research number and give your self a nick name,Just deleate your research number from the box type in your new nick name and update. this will enable other researchers to remember you when you get chatting

how can i tell if a friend is online

You can see if you have friends on line by clicking on <./>online<./>

you can put this on to your home page by going to edit like this < ./>
online </.> but with out leaveing the gaps to give you the <./>online</.>

hi angel thanks for you help i was just wondering how do you get the smileys and other little pictures up

No problem go to <./>smileys</.> that will give you a list of different smileys.


this is how you do a smiley, you have to put what ever smiley you want in these 2 brackets < > so if you want say you would put < choc > with out the space or would be < ale > with out the space and so on. and always in small case.

Hi ant. if your trying to make new friends you can either go to see who is <./>online</.> where you will see every researcher who is on line at that moment. another way is just jump in to someones thread if you find it to be intresting. Dont worry its not concidered to be rude to jump in on someones thread,
