Well I have had a pretty spiffing day so far, this morning I had my first driving lesson (well since I was 18 anyhow) which went particularly well, the instructors seems to think I will be able to pass my test pretty quickly.
Then when I got to work I weighed my self in the gym and got 12 stone 7! One month ago when I started is was 14 stone 1. So the diet and fitness regime are doing the job. Fantastic!
Only trouble is I am going to have to buy a load of new clothes soon, everything is to baggy now !

Well done with all!! There is no rush like when you feel you've done a good job.
Maybe you should invest in a sewing machine in stead of clothes

I dunno, have been putting off buying new clothes for the past year or so on the strength that I was "Going to do a diet any day now" som most of what I have got is tatty as well as too big.
Think I might take a trip up to Bristol or some other biggish city for the whole shopping thang.

Cannot be of any help, I'm afraid
I get confused, when I have to buy stuff and often leave the shop empty handed. I think I lack the shopping gene . Especially for clothes. Not for books, records/CD's and food
I always end up asking my mother to sew something for me - or go to a secondhand shop.
My daughter, though, can buy me clothes I like, but I would never have chosen it myself. Basically I wear jeans, t-shirt and sweater - and the occasional dress (hippie-style - I've never grown out of it - and now young people wear it )
Good day...

Well in the main I tend to but the first thing in my price range that fits that I dont hate.
However I think I am in need of a mild makeover so I might get one of my female pals to accompany me to get some tips!

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Immerse yourself in you.
What do you like?
Old photos of you what did you enjoy wearing?
Your favourite films and bands what do the people in those wear?
Im not saying kit yourself out all retro or go around looking like a Jimi Hendrix impersonator. Just think about the elements that you appreciate and try notto be railroadedby other peoples opinions. You'll more likely end up with clothes you feel physical and emotionally uncomfortable in or dont wear. Waste of time, waste of cash and a bunch of thong clefted arse.
Trust yourself bro

Not so much being railroaded as asking for a bit of a guiding hand.
I am REALLY bad a choosing clothes, I get horrendously self concious (something that NEVER normally happens to me) and I end up buying stuff I dont really like as a result.
I like having someone to ease my fears a little bit about how I look which is something of a departure for me; matalan 3 for £5.00 t-shirts are just a bit to naff even for an unfashionable cat like myself.
Good day...

Well done me Ferrett, looks like you might onto a good thing with this health kick. Though I'm not so sure about the driving lessons, i don't think that someone with ADD should be allowed behind the wheel of a vehicle, I'd stick to your pushbike.
Good day...
