Yup, Im new around here, been here a little over a month now. There are some pretty cool people here and some great threads, lotsa stuff to read and a great place to share ideas. I wish there was a paint program here though, then I could ask for nothing more.

I want to be able to draw and paint here at HOOTOO as wel as write, thus covering most of the creative process. I would just use an outside source to draw then cut and paste it here but my comp has no drawing or painting program in it and Im pretty lame at cutting and pasting. I did succeed in pasting something from the h2g2 picture library but I dont know how i did it and find its easier to just type the whole blob and alt. Maybe after the the site is done failing and erring someone will add the ability to draw here as well but I wont hold my breath.

Im from Seattle, Washington, USA. Im a bit of an artist, mostly I just draw with a pencil, tho Ive use an airbrush a bit and made a tattoo gun and used that a bit too (till I realized guitar string dulls really fast and tears the skin) I dont draw much anymore but I could pick it up again pretty easy. When I was in highschool I drew a lot, all the time, I was taught a few things by a great airbrush artist named Lee Bogle. Hes got some Incredible stuff hanging in an art gallery in a local mall around here. He taught me the airbrush. Ive seen some really cool art in the picture library (contributed by h2g2 artists) that makes me want to learn to use the computer to create art again. Ive drawn a little with the comp but its a pretty new medium to me and I wanna learn it

well im a bit off an artist aswell (if i can call it that ) like u, i done a lot of artwork, drawing, designing etc whilst in highschool...but it gradually faded away over the years since iv left. i passed my art emams with flying colours getting an A and a C and i couldve went onto art college, but i was young and stupid and decided i wanted to get a full time job instead, never mind tho!!! iv only just recently started to get back into drawing n painting so whats it like in Seattle then...what time is it there right now??
its 3-10am here in Scotland...my little one decided to get up n is doing my head in cos she wont go back to bed

Wish I'd gone to college too, I too chose the job thing tho Im currently unemployed seattle is pretty nice, we got the ocean, mountains, dountown Seattle is a lot like New York, just not as big and sprawling. Its been a hot summer here, lotsa wildfires around the pacific nw. Lotsa coffee drinkers here, espresso venders on every corner Its about 7:30 pm here. The rain season is closing in fast. We usualy get tons o rain here, it came down hard a few days ago. Im lookin forward next year cuz I'll be eligable for my drivers license again. Im a bit of a badboy when it comes to following the rules of the road, Ive had my license suspended 4 times I think, currently its revoked for not submitting to a breath analysist I would have my license now but I got caught drivin on suspended and they added another year to it. I learn a lot the hard way. o well.

Im 32 and you?, I was born jan 20 1971, thats a cusp date, just made it by 23 minutes. I guess you'll see this tomorrow so that gives my slow fingers time to type(as my tag sais I gotta watch my fingers so forgive the slow replies) Im ususaly found behind the counter, at the register, of a convenience store realy makes me regret not getting extra schooling, I quess its not too late. All I would need to really make good $$ is one more credit in algebra then I could be an apprentice electrician. My dad is an electrician and has been since I was born. Hes a master electrition, tho he too is unemployed also at the moment. The job market here is really suffering right now since the 9.11 tragedy. recovery is a alow process. anyway, I hope you and your little one sleep well <waves his nite
