Don't take anything I say too seriously. I just use to love the other board so much. When changed into an aggressive crazy dieters board, and you can't help being carried along with the flow. I love it over here so many people with different interest. Will read all your links, but have a feeling they maybe to heavy going for my mind .

You're not obliged to read ALL of the links - some are heavy biochem stuff that I've got into recently.

As I mentioned to Diane, I never knew the board before Diet Trials, so I've got nothing to compare it with. How many pages do I need to go back to get to the pre-Diet Trials days?

Biochem? Crikey I am not even going to pretend I know what youre talking about.

I think you have to go back about 40 pages. The board was quieter then, and although you were never really one of the irate low carbers, once the diet trials started there were others (for the record don't post on there anymore), who were quite rude when they first started posting.I thought a lot of the discussions were really funny, although it was a bit like world war 3 sometimes.
The moderators do my head in as well; they just kept sending everything I wrote back to me.

As you will have seen by now, the board only goes back 23 pages, so I'll never know how things used to be.

But I don't mind. At least I got a message from "them upstairs" LOL!

I like the "never really one of the irate low-carbers". I like to think that I've kept my cool and hit 'em where it hurts - in the clinical evidence and the biochemistry of metabolism. If a Health Professional starts slagging off low-carbing based on the usual mis-information, I really give 'em what for! That Powell chappie seems to have gone away.
