you invited me to come and talk to you, so i thought i would... do you like to read, aside from DNA books?
hi
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Aug 10, 2003
Hey! Nice to see you!
I like to read lots of things! I'm a very bookie person. I like Terry Pratchett and that sort of thing but I also like reading autobiographies and all sorts of other books. It's hard to say any specific ones.
Questions for you:
What colour is your duvet cover?
Where are you from?
What languages can you speak?
What word do you hate?
hi
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Aug 12, 2003
my duvet cover is blue, i hate the word lenolium, i speak english (obviously) and a little french, and i'm from canada. how about you?
hi
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Aug 13, 2003
My duvet cover is currently white with a few swirly bits on.
I hate the word clammy.
I speak english, and some German and hope to get further and further, and would like to learn French but am taking Spanish classes instead for some reason.
I'm from England!
How are you getting on with H2G2 so far? Enjoying yourself?
Wha sort of thing do you like doing? Oh and of course how is your day going?
My ear bled on me last night which was not fun, and now it hurts.
The dog has been sick everywhere and is now very unhappy and clingy.
Everyone expects me to have got 10 As for my GCSEs and I'm really worried about them.

H2G2 is going great for me, and i'm certainly enjoying myself.
i'm sorry about your ear.
my day is going okay, i think i have the flu or something...i was feeling queasy for most of the day.
i love to read and watch movies, have you seen johnny english yet?
what are GCSE's?
~Swirly
hi
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Aug 18, 2003
GCSEs are exams you take in England when you are 16 (in 9-12 subjects). They enable you do to Alevels (in 3-4 subjects) which you take at 18, which in turn enable you to take a degree.
What country are you from? How old are you? What's the time difference?
I just threw up after cleaning my teeth which was really not nice. So now I feel queasy too Hope you start feeling better.
i haven't seen Johnny English, but I did go and see Pirates of the Caribbean a few days ago. It made me laugh and it was a light, fun film. However when i was at the ticket bit I asked for a ticket to the pirates of penzance which didn't go down too well.

Arisztid Lugosi Posted Aug 30, 2003
thanks for the explanation... i've been off for a while, hope your feeling better by now. I live in canada, and i dont know what the time difference is.
I also loves pirates of the caribean, i'm glad yo enjoyed it.

Hullo! I've been away on a cadet course and now I'm trying to pack for going back to school This is horrific!
Well, bear in mind that I'm on British Summer Time right now which is GMT +1 hour.
Sorry must rush, I have to pack because I'm going early tomorrow, but I'll talk to you more as soon as I've got sorted at school.

dont worry about being away, i,ve been away longer.
i got sick, it wasn,t the flu, the doctor dosent know what it was. then i had to go back to school. and all this week i've been sick. i'm almost better now.
you have to pack to go back to school? does this mesn that you go to a boarding school?
well anyway, happy back to school!
hi
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Sep 21, 2003
Oh you poor thing! Is there tons to catch back up on? Sorry what year are you in? I know that if I even missed one single day then there would be so much to catch up on that there wouldn't be any point in having been ill in the first place, you'd just never recover.
I do indeed go to boarding school. It's not very nice and nothing like the books make out. People always expect it to be like Hogwarts or something like that but it's really nothing of the sort and the food is just like school food but a little bit better, or occassionally worse.
I've done something strange to my wrist and it's swollen up like a big balloon. I can still use the hand although it hurts slightly but the wrist is a mystery!
hi
Arisztid Lugosi Posted Sep 21, 2003
thanks for the sympathy. there was a lot to catch up on but i've finally finished it. I'll be back on school monday even though my nose wont stop running. i'm in grade 11, which are you in sorry to hear that boarding school isn't as fun as the books make it sound. I'm also sorry to hear about your wrist, i hope it's not the one you write with.
so i gather that you have read harry potter. do you like it? i do, but i was really dissapointed about the 5th book. what did you think?
i have to go find some more kleenex so i can blow my nose

I've just been told that I need to write a speech for a debate this coing Friday for my friend to read out! ARGH! The motion is "this house believes that international sports unites nations". The problem is that neither of us really believes it but we are being paid by the girl who should be doing it. She has too much work, we have too much work but we will put it on hold for a tenner!
The strange wrist is the one i write with unfortunately. Oh well hohum such is life.
Harry potter...very disappointed. I feel her writing style is going downhill as it is not developing along with the storylines.
hi
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Sep 27, 2003
We lost the debate by four people. 22 supporting and 26 against.
