Working in Govt. organization.
Posted May 5, 2005
After working in a corporate for almost three years, I have taken up this job with this scientific research institute. It’s almost four months and I have worked on at least six major ideas of mine. All the proposals are lying with my boss and he has not taken any action or given me approval to implement any of the proposals. Though he appreciated my proposals and praised me in front of everyone.
It is very frustrating . One needs to take approval for almost everything
If I decide to change this job and go for some interview, all I have to talk about my present job is, how many papers have I generated in the form of proposals and reports and how many times in a day I dust them.
Mind you I am not a cribber by nature, good part is I don’t have to over stay, have to work five days a week and while I am waiting for approvals indefinably, can browse internet visit h2g2 and write my journal. Well I think I can work on some other proposals as well.

Trafic terror
Posted May 3, 2005
I have started working after a break of more than two years. Workplace is ten minutes drive from my residence. I have a bike (motor bike/ scooter/ two wheeler) to commute.
And I have a friend’s car as well. Our friend is in UK on an assignment and has left his car in our custody!
Every time I drive on the street of my city, I can’t help but think of designing a computer simulated game , which models Indian driving conditions! How exciting game it would be, you are trying to drive on a two lane road and suddenly a two wheeler appears out of no where or a gigantic truck comes out of a hidden lane or a three wheeler (Auto Rickshaw) decide to change lane or take a U turn without any indication to warn you. And entire time the player is trying to save his/her soul !

Returning after a long time
Posted May 3, 2005
Returning after a long time. Need to change my introduction. My son is two and half year old now and I am missing him . He is with my mom these days, enjoying summer break. He is going to get a taste of early education in India shortly. His school reopens in mid Jun. I think he will enjoy being with lots of active buddies in his nursery.
He loved his playgroup after all .
