what do we do?

Hello again Midnight Angel - I have been trying to download a pic from the library to go on my homespace - I have tried and tried and .... failed most dismally

Could you give me some guidance?

Yeh course i will help.

You cant down load pics from the library. what you need to do is go into edit this page, (find this just under your research number) change the gml from plain text to guid ml, then click change, with the pic theres a blob number beside it, you need to coppy the whole code into the txt box in edit mode

How do I add other things like say, s ? - as I doooo like my Yak very much....

I tried to add them - but it didn't like - do you have to back to plain text to add the smileys?

(and..... why isn't there a yak smiley yet!!!)

Well in plain txt mode you would normaly do smileys like this < love > but without leaving the gaps of course,
but in guide ml mode you have to do them like this <SMILEY TYPE="love "/> <SMILEY TYPE="biggrin"/>
ect: if your on digibox though it isnt recomended that you use to many of the smileys

Great idea, what about the same for MC-H. I'd be prepared to help out setting up the page etc. Or would it be wise to see how QQ goes first?

Yo there oh errant pachyderm. Go on then, pinch our idea. Hey, really I wish you would. I'd like to see all the boards reflected over here. I would also like to see people adding threads on the QQN page instead of starting them in normal hootoo mode. If it's suitable for QQ, how about a link to the thread at least on the QQN page. We don't want it to die of boredom after the honeymoon period!

Am I right in thinking this is the place where we disaffected and booted-out denizens of the Questions, Questions board may go after Nanny tells us that 'bedtime' is 10pm?

Sorry to be replying to my own post (bad form!) but I put in my own name as a user name. How do I show that on my board postings, rather than the rather anonymous 'Researcher 213079'?

If you click on the preferences option on the left hand side of the screen, you can change a number of things. One of option is nickname. If you change this you will no longer show up as 'Researcher 213079'
