No charge necessary - I'm connected to the mains.
Does this include the top picture which now has a height and width set?
How much smaller than normal would you guess that they are? (smileys and pictures may be different)

Yes that used to be bigger too,i would like the round one to be about the same size as the "witch" picture on my HoleHearted homepage & i think i might re-position the gym one & thats about half what it was!.

Your HoleHearted ID/page would seem to be U238108 but I would guess that will look different to you now as well. Note that I won't be seeing these pictures the same way as you. So I'm relying on your reports.
Do you associate these changes with a recent TeleWest upgrade?
Try doubling the pixel sizes on the dog. So: WIDTH="276" HEIGHT="296"
NB to centre the "Friends of LD" badge, you need to put ALIGN="CENTER" into the TABLE tag.

I think the pictures look ok now but the smileys are still not quite right,can you tell me why plz ?

The SMILEYs need to be given a WIDTH and HEIGHT too. You can find the proper sizes for each on A1000008 and double them.
The gym picture (B76103) starts off at 130 x 148 so it should probably be set to WIDTH="260" HEIGHT="296"
The weather picture (B79417) starts off at 132 x 130 so it should probably be set to WIDTH="264" HEIGHT="260"
As well as putting ALIGN="CENTER" into the surrounding TABLE tag for the Friends of LD badge (B685473) you might want to force the blue blob version to look better on the purple background. Instead of PICTURE BLOB you specify:

I have done my gym & weather pic & they are now fine,im about to attempt the badge,but im not sure how to change size ov smileys is this right ? >>>>>>
<SMILEY TYPE="disco" WIDTH="36" HEIGHT="32"/>

SEF Posted Sep 20, 2003
Yes, that would double its current 18x16 size. NB you can put the bits in any order except for the name of the tag (SMILEY) which has to come first.

SEF Posted Sep 20, 2003
Was that on one of the smileys? It is supposed to try and point out the problem.

SEF Posted Sep 20, 2003
OK but I've found out that one can't enlarge them like this:
<SMILEY WIDTH="36" HEIGHT="32" TYPE="disco"/>
Though fixing the proper size previously seemed to help some people, eg:
<SMILEY WIDTH="18" HEIGHT="16" TYPE="disco"/>
Instead one would have to select a particular smiley file (white or blue background) and use the IMG tag, eg:

OK a few "simple" things then:
1. The Friends of LD badge looks much better in goo but if you want the text above and below again, put tags before and after the tag. You could tidy it up a bit too. The tag isn't necessary and the tags can go together:
The Friends Of
Leisure District
2. Your online link has a space between the ? and orderby=name which prevents it working that way. Should be:
3. Your conversations link is longer than it needs to be and has an @ instead of & character which stops it working properly. Should be:
<LINK H2G2="/dna/h2g2/plain/MP233503?skip=0&show=50">

oh jeepers SEF
this is getting way complicated now LOL wheres my hero when i need him LOL might ask Marc to have a go for me as he has my pw`s for both my user`s (trust him loads)
i always thought that you can`t put "&" on coz it comes up ampersand or something like that
oh in fact i will give it a quick go once i have wrote it all down.

I have sorted my online link but got bad closing element (missing bracket) on the conversations link,& i totally don`t get where to put the tags LOL soz SEF im hopeless LOL

SEF Posted Sep 21, 2003
Your online link still looks the same to me - with a space next to the ? which prevents it from working.
You are right that you can't use '&' on its own in the conversations link because it is a special character used to make other special characters work. But & is the special code to get just an ampersand otherwise there would be no way of having one at all! At the moment you are using the @ character where you should have the & character.
The line breaks go either side of the IMG tag for the badge:
