Thankfully I figured out what you meant - simply posting "EXPLANATION!" in a random thread generally won't get you anywhere, cuz people won't automatically know what you're on about! 
As to the bunches of idiots, we tend to find that the real name calling small minded idiots (of which thankfully there are few), tend to find their own little corner somewhere. Most of H2G2 is a super friendly place of nice normal people..
but then I always say - it's not me that's mad, it's everybody else that's repressed
