I'm still cross at the pointless removal of those h2g2 posts...poor old Beethoven! I didn't think I'd be able to post here as your Intro's gone... At least the link from our Discussions pages has been restored...

I am extremely annoyed that my front page has been removed - I have left a (polite) message for Peta on an appropriate thread, was thinking of escalating but then it occurred to me that it is the weekend after all...

I wonder if these Intros have been irretrievably lost? Was it an accidental loss or a deliberate removal? At least we have the links to h2g2 from our Discussions pages restored - but since we've had nearly all our h2g2 threads removed we won't exactly be celebrating will we? Good luck in your investigations - you as a techie might at least be able to work out what they're trying to achieve...

It occured to me that if you'd visited your Intro page recently before it vanished it could be in History and that you could retrieve it that way - as long as it didn't take you to today's version when you clicked on it - but even if you could,it wouldn't be GuideML (unless you'd gone in to Edit)which is what you'd need...oh well just a useless thought!

Glad to see a bit of an Intro now Achilles but annoyed they still haven't returned it to you. Some people's lists of conversations have returned.

The simple-enough-to-have-been-done-by-a-six-year-old-sum for your no. was 23+28+6-8-7. That was easy to recall but I've forgotten the ones I did for Mimi and a couple of other posters...

Relieved my Intro's still there - lucky me. Of course, I've copied it now! Would have liked to have been able to have another chuckle re-reading those lost threads though...

Have to keep checking to see if they've returned your Intro to you Achilles. Doubly annoying that you'd joined h2g2 as Achilles and still lost it. And how dare they remove your polite post on the subject? Sorry, cross-threading!

I'm on a computer that crashed and lost your Scripts - but can't get that little monkey to appear to be able to reinstall them. Can't see why Greasemonkey not installing - could it be that husband's put Firefox in Safe Mode whatever that is? I'll have to ask him to change it as I don't want to fiddle about too much. Anyway, that's why I'm posting without your Scripts these days.

Of course, had I been paying attention I'd probably have seen information about this on a thread in the Bull, but I hadn't.Thank you so much!!! I'd just started to wonder where I'd saved the colour chart and instructions and gloomily thinking that I'd probably lost it all when I absent-mindedly clicked on it!
