Footbacon - don't complain there's nothing to do in Sheffield... there's way more interesting stuff there (my home town ) than there is here in the back of beyond...
where we're getting the Gruesome Twosome ready for school/music lessons/ballet lessons to resume tomorrow.

Interesting things to do in places I have lived.
Lowestoft.
drink.
Cambridge.
Drink.
Manchester.
Drink. which just goes to show that no matter where you are all places are exactly the same, just with differnt price tags on the beer

I just had a walk in the park. But only because I caught the tram instead of the bus.
Parks are overrated.

I suppose that would depend which park. Hillsborough park seems to have mutated to a car park. But in my day Concord park could be a pretty good walk.
Then there's Firth Park...

I went to the National Gallery and contemplated the Stubbs exhibition, but then decided that's more of a "date" thing (note to self...get a date before 25 September)...then my sister texted me to say she was in St. James's park, with James (my nephew) listening to a brass band, so I went to the park and sat listening to oompah music from the City of Bristol brass band.
Parks are good.

It's a shame really: since the end of the Cold War nobody wants to play with the spies anymore They must get very bored ...

I'd like to be a spy, maybe I should try to encourage a new cold war between us and The Soviet Union I'd need to buy a mac though, so maybe I'd be better off not being a spy I roasted a chicken tonight, this seemed to annoy the chicken greatly

Yeah, it was a bit odd seeing them there, as it was a warm sunny day so the macs looked a bit inappropriate.
Also, they were carrying The Times, when strictly speaking they should've been carrying The Sunday Times, which means they'd've needed a wheelbarrow to cart it around in.
Maybe they were just flashers with a flower and newspaper fetish?
