NuclearConfusion -Not a lot of money in the revenge business

Yeah, Ed Norton was great. Not what I'm talking about.

There are lots of things people are afraid of. Some things are older than others. The oldest fears seem to deal with possesion.

Vampires. Feared for thousands of years.
Werewolves.
Zombies.
Democrats.

You get scratched or bitten by one of these things, you then become one, and have to go around scratching or biting other people.

Something to do with loss of free will.

...but nobody ever makes scary movies about love.
And it's one of the worst.

I always hated romantic movies and tv shows and songs, because they didn't seem realistic.

I'd think, "Nobody would act like that. Do that. Think that way. Try to justify things in this manner. No one would instantly become that accident-prone overnight."

Being in love has given me the key to decyphering all this craziness.

Now, I watch these shows, and listen to all the sappy songs I used to hate, and go, "Yep. That dude's in love. Woah. That's just what I would do. ! Ouch, I've done that. That hurts!"

*****

I have been bitten, and transformed, and am now fated to walk the earth as a man possessed.

...I guess the reason it's not a horrorshow favorite is due to the fact that I've never been happier.

Way it goes.

Yeah...
I never liked kitsch. Always thought all this stuff was made up, or at least exaggerated. And, well, here I am now... how unbelievable is that?

(I think most people here see my journal too, but for those who don't, and don't know what I'm on about: F1134023?thread=683854)
