Opticalillusion- media mynx life would be boring without hiccups

I've just had one of the greatest weekends ever. smiley - cracker

It all started on a wet and miserable day in December. My boyfriend and I got up quite early and he drove to Richmond, where upon we caught the underground to Victoria. We then walked to Harrods and on the way bought an umbrella with holes in it!. I think we should have waited to buy the wonderful Wicked witches umbrella. We caught the train back to Victoria and ate lunch in one of the restaurants in a big complex that reminded me of a big airport. Just a short walk away was the theatre and when we were finally let in we went to sit on the balcony. Wicked was exactly what it says on the tin and I thought the pronunciation of words and music was fantastic. From the balcony it was like peering in on Oz and I would have liked to have been that much closer...but I still enjoyed it immensely. Earlier in the week I had set myself the challenge to read Tony Maguire's book but I failed in reading it all and only read three out of five chapters. Still it was interesting to see how in line the book and the production were and I'm pleased to report that it is both child and adult friendly. My boyfriend sure gave me a Wicked Christmas present. smiley - biggrin

smiley - bubblyWhat a lovely treat.smiley - cool I saw one of the actors on the Paul O'Grady show and she said that it took ages getting the green paint off and a few times she left the green pain on her hands and she got a few funny looks from waiters when she out to dinner. It sounds like a wonderful production, I remember the first time I saw Wizard of Oz when I was 11 at my aunt's in London.
