As for the arm pains... 
I'm gonna take an blatantly amateurish guess and say that you've accidentally involved some sort of nerve connections in the lumbar area that are somehow "ringing" at this point...
Sorta like what happened when I took my spill...

How ever it happened, my arms were better pretty soon, but I still need to be careful when sitting down.
