I'm glad there are a few hootooers to whom the world cup is not an offence. I really should put up the flags again, although they are from the last world cup and may not be representative (I don't recall which flag codes Icy created).

I don't watch , so I have no idea who is playing.

It's USA vs Ingerland in a bit more than an hour. I've heard the USA team are quite good.

Aha. Elektra says the US is playing the UK today. I don't know how she knows this.

Does anybody think the US could win? (How in the world could they?)

I don't really understand the game and have never watched it except in highlights on sports programs. But I certainly don't find an interest in it offensive. I hope whichever team you are supporting wins.

So I've seen, matodemi. And what a goal. They say the keeper is cr@p - in 38 matches he didn't keep 66 times. That's nearly two PER MATCH

I am not watching constantly so I missed to see the goal, problem for me is, that the tone of the vuvuzelas is too much for my ears to bear for longer than a couple of minutes....
