yikes is younger thread so in way it already ahead of n3 thread...

That makes the British English conversation and its sequel, at 9 years old, and with 17,000 postings, seem rather small. But they were 17,000 _relevant_ postings.

Oh, if you care to have a look, I'm sure there are at least twice as many relevant_postings in yikes.

Yes, but bear in mind we were only up to about 10 or 20 thousand then...
