oh dear - that would be a shock for me as well, especially since this is not the only expense you have, kids usually do need some new clothes then as well and pocket-money...
How long will they stay there?

matodemi Posted Aug 29, 2007
that sounds okay for the price, still it is a lot of money

I don't think schools should be allowed to do such expensive tours.

You are right - or if they do, they should know that 3 years in advance, that would give parents the chance of putting aside about 10 Euro a month and so being able to pay much easier than on short notice.

Hi Bel.
Just read your entry about your meeting in Cologne? I would have loved to have come but I was in London with my family. I've never been to Köln but I've heard it's the place to be at the moment!!!
Bye-the-way, if you haven't realised it by now, it's me EINMOTO. Wanted to login from England and naturally I forgot my password and the computer through me out ... naturally, too, I forgot my secret word, so I am now Zweimoto.
Take Care

I wondered about the name change. I've left you a quasi-ace message on your new account. Did you have a good time in London?

It was all a bit hectic but the return journey through the tunnel, france, Belgium, Holland and then north Germany was less enjoyable (with 4 kiddies in the back). Still we did manage to hear an audio cd from Philip Pullmann - his dark works? Better than Potter?!?!

I've read them (I think, I only jknow the German titles). They're different from HP, I don't think they can be compared.

His Dark Materials
Matodemi - sorry, having trouble with time. I'll send the photos at the weekend, and let you have Gruesome #2's photos of all of us so you can pick one for the article
it's month end it's a nightmare and I'll be working about 20 hours straight tomorrow. Which makes me grumpy.

Sho, I'll send it to (on matodemi's behalf), and I'm finished now.
It would be good if you could send the photos to me, and I'll send them to the post to choose from. I intended to send the article today, but I guess I can still send some photos later.

Never mind, I'll just send what I have (matodemi's pics), and if you manage to send yours, I can send those later.

well, I was working until gone midnight...
and then I had a bad day with the gruesomes (although it ended nicely with dinner out for all of us)
tomorrow is off, swimming and cooking and just hanging out together.
Then Monday and Tuesday I'm off to Berlin for IFA. And hopefully my PC will go in the shop and when it comes back Gruesome #2's game will finally work.
And... she has put her camera somewhere in her room....

well, Berlin is on business, but since I'll effectively have an evening (nice hotel thrown in) and a whole day (flight back is at 18:25) in the city I'm planning on making the most of it.
I haven't been since the wall vanished

I have been to Berlin 2005 and 2006, but meetings and even though they were private I didn't have much time to see a lot. To me it is only a big city and I still haven't sensed any flair there (my apologies to every native Berliner, perhaps one day I will see more in that city)
Key: Complain about this post
