Today, my small son went to a youth hostel with his schoolclass til Friday. I had to bring him to school before work, because of his suitcase and stuff he had to carry.
We were not really late, but - I went to fetch the car and left him my bunch of keys to lock the front door when he was ready
Brought him to school, was in time for work -everything was -
until I left work and started searching for my keys
I tried to phone my son to ask about the keys, but his mobile was off
I didn't expect my older son to come home before 3.00pm, so decided to drive to the youth hostel to get my keys back.
When I finally got there, the keys were nowhere to be found and my sunny son told me, he didn't know where he had put them, perhaps in his satchel which he had left at school
So 1.5 h and several litres of wasted fuel later, I arrived at home, and the first question of my older son, who fortunately was at home, was :
Mom, Why did you leave the keys on the door mat, you shouldn't do that !...

I'm sure this can only happen to me
Well, yes, children are wonderful, most of the time

And the problem would be what? It's hours (a couple) before hubby would be home to notice, isn't it?
*passes another brandied and another *

No problem with hubby in that aspect - but I'd be .
And it's maximum 1h before he gets home, so I would have to drink very fast

To the Lady Venus, I always have a bit on hand. You never know when a Monday (Sodit) will descend upon you as it did dear B'Elana.
Lady B'El, just drink it very fast (brandy cools ) and then appear distracted with preparing dinner. He may not notice

I can't drink all this alone, so may I invite all my friends to a good amount of with either or - whatever you prefer ?

Sounds like exactly the type of thing I'd do
Once spent all day looking for my keys which ended up to be in my bag; I'd looked there three times and even got a friend to check it
I hope there's still some drink left

Sure, you're welcome
* gives to Unc *
But I couldn't know he'd leave my complete ! bunch of keys on the door mat. I still don't want to imagine what could have happened during 6h of absence
