Funny old world, I came to h2g2 today to look for an article on Christmas traditions (especially trees). Then I found your message.

How are you? I'm fine, keeping myself very busy with various projects.

Nice to hear from you That's good you were missed, everything is fine here and you are preparing for Christmas already time fly's.

Hope the projects are going well and I hope you stay for a while.

I'm not yet preparing for xmas, it was just that it came up in a conversation with a friend.

My projects are all going fine, but I must pay attention not to burden myself.

I only check h2g2 very rarely, Bob. I have no intention of returning, but if I find a message from a friend, I'll naturally reply to it.

I've been to France, but that was a long time ago. we once spent a holiday in Benodet, that's at the Atlantic. The campsite was very popular with the British.

Well, it's exciting.

Not much of great interest, the new cat has settled down well and everyone gets on no fights

Finishing off the garden waist high grass when we first got it now it's looking quite tidy, can post links if you are interested

Finally sorted the last part of a car accident claim taken over 2 years to get through all the red tape.

Had a really good stay in Wilton (Wiltshire UK near Salisbury) found a brilliant hotel, really nice room, excellent beer and fantastic food all at an excellent price, so stayed 2 nights.

Did you visit family?

I'll go up again soon to see my mum. She'll be down, as it'll be a year since my brother died by the end of November. Noevember is such an ugly, depressing month anyway.

November is depressing but brits have a firework festival so that takes the edge off it. The year has passed quite fast, here's hoping you get through this month without to much sadness, though it's hard to avoid memories. Its good to hear you are going to see your mum.
