Just looked at your space...are you a Geordie also...or do you just live there.
I've never been back, for a number of reasons. But maybe one day I'll make it..
I'll be taking up teaching (Metallury) mid next year, at our local TAFE college. Ripe old age of 55, but should be fun and .
Gotta go now, it's a Public Holiday here, so off to Beach with eldest daughter and grandaughters....Bliss... to you
Stephen,or Peeb preferably...Bye

Hello
Look - I'm absolutely rubbish at this so I've just got your message. Yes I am a Geordie but I will write more later.
Sorry!
Helen

Don't worry Helen, aka Lady C, I would rather talk face to face as well. That's not about to happen near future, so its for you to write to me and vice versa. Just that I can't type real quick.
If you wish, send me an E-Mail [email protected], my phone no. is 0242854950, and you can call reverse charge if you like.

It's the H2G2 Message thingie I'm rubbish at - I forget to look at the bottom of the page
I actually live in Teesdale - haven't lived in Newcastle for 40 years although I still shop there and my youngest son and his girlfriend live there.
Been here for 9 years having lived variously in N. Yorks, Kent, London and Switzerland - in roughly reverse order. Still looking to move again but haven't decided where yet.
I was in your neck of the woods a couple of years ago - Jonnie and Kate took a year to travel round the world and were in NZ for 3 months so I flew to see them there. Hell of a long flight!
The rest of my family live in the W. Midlands and London so we're pretty scattered.
I was in Newcastle yesterday evening and made the mistake of having two cups of coffee (they only had Earl Grey which I hate) - hence my being up at this hour - I'm totally wired lol
It's getting cooler here now - Winter's fast approaching - you of course are just coming into Summer - lucky you.
Two things I particularly remember about my visit to the Antipodes - the way your world maps are upside down And the way in which the flow of water going down the plughole is reversed
Hope your weekend's going well.
Helen

Hello Helen, same as me, I don't like Earl Grey either.. Coffee I can take or leave, but I do Liptons Black tea...and typing is too slow, so call reverse charges anytime you like.
Stephen
