LOL
You can't be all bad then I have mixed blood - part Irish on my mother's side mixed with royal blood (the Norfolk connection) and Borders/Newcastle on my father's (I understand the Borders lot were sheep stealers)
Just a mongrel!!
They always seem prepared to blow their own trumpet - the Welsh that is

It's the dumb language that gets me: occasionally at work I had to transcribe whole screeds of it - ghastly

Not too bad: life continues, as they say
Was there supposed to be a link in your last post? I'm just wondering what it is I should be listening to...

I think so: the bit when he's in the factory trying to keep up with tightening the nuts on the assembly line
Interesting to watch though

Have just braved yet another downpour of needle-like rain to place my bets
My only flutter apart from the odd foray onto the Lottery when they have 45 Euro Millions
How are you? I keep hoping that something exciting's going on up there

I may have to make something up then
We have a lottery syndicate at work: suffice to say, we're all still at work.
Me betting on a horse, or even drawing it in a sweep is a sure sign that the unfortunate beast will fall over, or suddenly turn out to have an odd number of legs that no-one noticed before, so I don't do it

You're at work just now???? Oops lol - I see what you mean
Well I rang my youngest son to see if I should tear up my betting slip (he always has the winner) and for once we shared 5 horses including the winner and the 4th who was pipped out of third at the post!
I will make about £11
Make it up!
Or, if we can find a way of you telling me something about yourself, I could put you onto a dating site I've found

Good for you: good job I didn't bet on any of them and spoil it for you
I'm a born loner, although I am in daily electronic communication with a nice American lady in London, if that'll keep you happy for a while...

Nobody's a born loner although I do understand the need for personal space and a desire to be alone some of the time.
Why haven't I heard about this nice american lady before? I seem to remember someone who was going to Australia...

Well, the one who's going to Australia is a) married and b)in transit to Australia.
The nice American has but recently arrived, although we did get to meet at a farewell gathering for the emigre
