Okay, if your you promise your head won't explode, i'll tell you about myself, i am only about thirteen, and i can't seem to find anyone else abot that age on h2g2 but you never know, i have six living with me (hooray!) and alot of chickens and evil man-eating ducks etc. i play lead guitar in a rock/grunge band with three friends, i am a girl, i think, because i never act like it and like music, strange books and all things dark and disturbing. you?

Ok - i promise my head won't explode...! Don't worry about not finding people your age on herer, coz really age doesnt matter! Im 17, and Yaz is 16, so thats not far off 13. Tell me about your band? I'm a singer (and a cellist) but my voice is too soft to do grunge or rock music. I mostly write tracks and sing tracks... similar to the vocals of Evanesence. Not really sure what you'd call that though. I am dark and disturbing so you'll probs like me (joke - im just an alternative lady in this painful world)... You can pretty much say anything to me and i wont be shocked, so, you know - let it all out... x

i play lead guitar, i also do a little singing and my voice is really deep and very rock'n'roll so its kinda lucky i can play and sing/scream lyrics insanely at the same time. its also kinda lucky coz our lead (who is a great guy) isn't the most tuneful nor enthusiatic person in the universe. on the other hand our drummer (who thinks he's some kind of pixie) is very enthusiatic and the less said about the bassist the better (nice girl, but has a strange obsession with cabbage.) and dont worry about your voice theres loads of great songs you can sing soft and im sure a light purr can be very grunge if you put your mind to it.

I love to sing... favourite song that i sing at the moment(there's three) are Black Tangled Heart by Silverchair, Hello by Evanescence and Caged Bird by Alicia Keyes (i dont go in for the whole RnB but i quite like that song. Its very me.)

we mostly write our own songs (water cooler, 204 roaches by mouth etc) but we do some covers, mainly for battle of the bands at our school (19th of june argh!) i iie mst bands that can be classed as rock but i do admit to some of the older stuff, nirvana , incubus, the cooper temple clause, the sex pistols and stuff. we are caled Zenith, but on the whole alot of the earlier names were better (Granny Ptete and the sellotape dispencers was a big favourite, don't ask me why.)

Have you made a CD? Id love to here you. If you ever get famous or come to leeds, let me know and i'll come and see you!The music im into is similar to you... i like al the bands you named (sex pistols included) and othery bands like AFI, InMe, Finch, SilverChair... that sort of thing. Im big into Evanescence at the moment too. Thats the sort of stuff my band used to do before we split up... sort of chilled out goth so to speak. Erm... i basically like goth and rock and that sort of thing. Similar to you it would appear...! luck for your BofB....

Mine just seems like a killer whale but ore scary...

we havn't made any cd's yet but were working on it. i admit we are a bit isolated in galisdale but its cool, ig to Eskdale school, it's a long way from where me and all my friends live (up the valley, coz the schools in whitby) so we get a school train, its fun, but theres loads of little s putting eachother in the baggage racks and racing jelly down the carridges (don't ask.) i havent heard of where you live but i'm sure i will have before the end of the week!
ps. my maths teacher is a lizard woman who i think is planning evil deeds against my classmates (me especially)

Okie do... good luck for when you do make a CD. Whitby! Thats ages away. (about 2 hrs by car)... Ilkley is full of ye olde person... you musgt have heard the song On Ilkley Moore Ba'tat... or howevere its spelt.

im sorry (not sure what about but i am.) whitby is also full of ye olde people but even worse, ye townie git, and you probly know what kinda poeple i'm talking about. i'm never on the net at the same time as you, i usually do evenings or go to the school libary at lunch to use the computer for "research." i heard some efervescense (cant spell, tired) today, very cool, everyones heard of them so i think i missed something.

evanescense...right...sorry...id just got back from tutoring a load of ten and eleven year olds, theres this thing going on where all the year sixes come and learn about what eskdales like, words cant describe it, but after that i was pretty ed...sorry.

dont apologise ive never had to tutor peps on where i live. Hopefully never will or id be forced to say. *the most interesting thing about where i live is that it isnt interestin* and where does that leave us? right back where we started im afraid. ive not been on a while. Im having a mini crisis in my life... you get the idea...
