I've visited the front page several times today to check out the new Entries - which still haven't appeared.

Eventually, I did spot my first QOD, and was reminded of the sports day, many years ago, when I was presented with the Good Star Cup to everyone's amazement - completely destroyed my street cred, it did!

Just so you know.... I don't actually spend a lot of time wondering whether spiders have a sense of self...

The new Entries have been there since Monday, sweetheart

Well, that's very strange. I thought several days had passed since I checked those Entries for typos. Must be getting senile.

Seems I look the part now, too: I was walking through the local park with Luis, a Spanish English teacher, the other day, when he told me that a colleague of his who had spotted us earlier in the week had asked whether I was Luis' FATHER - I'd always thought I looked no more ancient than his older brother!
