I'm new here
Hi there. I haven't been a newbie on a site for aaaaaages, but I've only just come across this little gem, so I'll have to endure the humiliation for a while. I thought I'd try typing in this URL as I am currently reading "The Salmon of Doubt" by the God himself, and there is reference to this site.
I am pretending to revise for AS chemistry at the moment, but I think I have progressed further through "The Salmon of Doubt" than I had planned to this weekend.
OK. The header says "Add Introduction" and I haven't done much of that yet, so I'd better start.
My name's Rebekha. I was christened ((ugh)) Rebecca, but a few years ago I took a trip to Israel and discovered that in Hebrew ((oh such a beautiful language)) there is no "C" and that the closest translation for a double "C" is a "KH" sound. So that's it - RebeKHa. But then people see the "K" and the "H" and don't bother to look any further. Thus I get e-mails addressed to the mysterious "Rebekah" or "Rebehka". So I now spell my name "Rebecca", "Rebekha" or "Rebekah" arbitrarily depending on my mood.
This is going to be a long day.
I am 17 years old. 18 on september 23rd. I live in the UK, in the south, round about Reading ((I know it smells awful and it's full of pikeys, but don't blame me - I just live there)). I'm hoping to go to university in september 2004. The course I want to study is ((wait for it)) "Physics with partical physics and cosmology" try telling that to someone when you're drunk.
So now you're thinking "young geek". And you'd be right. And you're not supposed to start sentences with "and". And I don't care. About either.
