The secrets of a book: The one to be published

I crafted a year back a 'Scientific Romance' something that Mr Wells or Verne would be proud to read, it was created through a number of sources, though strangely enough Doctor Who!
The Time Machine, Moulin Rouge, James Joyce's Dubliners and Alice in Wonderland lie amongst them.
Basically it's a period piece set in early and middle 1913 and March 2001 and concerns an Edwardian scientist displaying his finds on temporal traversal across history to learn from the past but he dubbed a charlatan and failure in society but a chance encounter with the unknown gives to his new possibilities....
And there it starts filled like a Paul Magrs book- Mad Priests, brothels, Pub fights and a man who keeps appearing different eras although dressed exactly the same!
To say anything further would spoil it but I'll leave the title:
GILBERT POOLE

That's all right Marian, I shall mention you with the others at the beginning! At last you'll get recognition in fame, no not the musical.
