Not a lot really...
Work work work, always with the work!
Getting ready to go camping next weekend, which is the Queen's Birthday Long weekend... The Rovers have a camp, where we go up to this campsite that the section owns, and race cars (well, we used to, until the insurance was hiked in recent years... the cost of insurance has essentially killed that camp...) Last year was the first without cars, and was the 30th... 30 years, and it was killed by insurance companies (or terrorists, depending on how you look at it...)
Well, I hope you get everything finished up for uni, and that they don't, you know, kick you out or something

No worries, Mate!
Actually, after posting, I started to look around, and found her in BS, so did realise she wasn't going to post... (In fact was a little surprised to find a post on this thread...)
So, tell me about yourself (I realise it may say on your space, but havn't been there yet (will go after posting...))
I am from Melbourne, and am in the scouting movement, as I am sure is mentioned earlier on the thread, but...

Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Jun 1, 2003
I'm 35+,married,and am a seasonal operator in a sugar mill
nonsense game addict and lurking on the BS pages
currently unemployed as mill don't start till 16th,
was once a brownie, then guide, then air cadet
that's my bare bones

Am 23 (gasp!) and work in an ofice, around being Rover, Venturer Leader and rent-a-crowd for scouts...
I am currently single although that is a relativly recent thing (well, 6 months isn't really that recent, is it? seems like only last week, but at the same time, a lifetime ago...)
Relativly new to H2G2, and in fact only found it at all due to reading of the Salmon of Doubt. Horrible, I know...

thats how I found it too
been here about 9 weeks now and am addicted
got top poster on friday
was on from about 5pm till 2am
Hubby was away,so was just me and my JD, so sad,but was lots of fun, openned myself to bribes from the BS house, got all sorts of virtual things and some code for my page......hugo's background, and some other bits and pieces
sorry about the broken
here's a cliche to make you feel better
time heals all wounds........
why rent-a-crowd?
Hello Aussie ...
Paendrag Posted Jun 1, 2003
Rent-a-crowd? just cos I show up to things... AGM's of all sorts, any functions that are on... there are a small group of us with no lives that do that...
Hello Aussie ...
Paendrag Posted Jun 1, 2003
Oh, why?
I like it in there, much better than the guys! (well, I presume... bound to smell better, everyone says so...)

Ladies rooms is for LADIES
our are nicer
how do I know, I hear you ask?
I am only woman in mill itself,If I want a loo I have to wlak miles to get to a ladies room, or use the blokes smelly ones
Hello Aussie ...
Paendrag Posted Jun 1, 2003
Scouts being a (co-ed?) association these days, there are enough Rovers who will use the blokes because "the ladies are too full"
can be some what disconcerting to walk in to the guys, and have a young lady walk out past you...
Hello Aussie ...
Heleloo - Red Dragon Incarnate Posted Jun 1, 2003
Took the blokes at work a while to get used to it ,but cos the bosses wouldn't designate a toilet for me, I just used the blokes ones, (they got 6 throughout the mill) a couple off em complained, think they got embarassed or somthing , but I just can't walk off my station for 10 mins for a pee, so they just had to get used to it
how's the ?
may have to go soon, so if I do seeya round
Hello Aussie ...
Paendrag Posted Jun 1, 2003

Big Sis Opt Minister of love, life and laughter and ACE Posted Jun 8, 2003
Freedom is brilliant exam revision not so good I need someone to help me push myself that little bit more. Lots of people have helped already but I have got to the stage where I think I know it all but am not too sure.
