Traveller in Time, whose eyes never dim.
You used to always be here, TiT. It would be lovely to have you back. Sometimes these days I'm the geekiest person on the site. That's a scary thought.
TRiG.

I'm very glad to say that so far TT is alive and well and still with us in our corner of the site.
Please don't leave us, TT, until perhaps we all have to go - and things might turn out for the good, you never can be sure.
You know that you and your work are highly rated in our neck of the woods, and you give lots of pleasure to lots of people
We'd miss you like crazy if you went

Please ignore previous post.
Sorry, TiT, I got you mixed up with TT the poet - The Thinker - who hangs out round where I am.
But the message is essentially the same - don't go - you're somehow a staple that we all depend on, and we'd miss you like crazy too!
I would certainly miss you if you go.

Nick Reynolds - I must thank you for your efforts but tell me - how many people are leaving?
It seems to be the gold not the copper that's going, or at least thinking about it.
Believe me ~ I wish the opposite were true,
Nice pictures,.

hi Jabs...
maybe this is as good a place as any to talk about this...
i think people have been leaving for quite a few years...
and they leave because of a destructive element
comprised of a few people and their aliases
that has burrowed in and just kinda
makes things feel bad in threads
one way or another
annnyway, be that as it may
i believe that the gold has remained watching
hoping
and occasionally foraying into the fray
and then wandering off again
but i feel they will be at the new place
hopefully strengthfully girded
to nip any ne'erdoweelnesses before they can take root

I hope, I dearly hope you're right, fluffykerfuffle. But it seems the other way to me, (upon strictly unscientific observation)
At least we can still talk remarkably freely, though nobody seems to, apart from the 'house style' of silliness and possible attack, to listen.
There was a rash of trollness a couple of months ago, but it soon went,
Ignoring them won't work. would just increase the daftness, it seems to me - hope I'm wrong. In fact I've never hoped I'm wrong as much as now..
Even this might bring them back, Best may be laissez-faire:
When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom - let it be,
The dust will/might settle.

[Not forgetting the majority of people on this and other threads who are kind and good-willed]
Congratulations on your appointment. We need good people in the right places.

Good to see you back, if only for a moment.
(Couldn't find the blue tit smiley anywhere in Barlesque, many of the other smileys are missing, the smileys index links and hyperlinks are mostly inoperable.)

hi ITIWBS
i guess you already know that your apostrophes are coming across as & # 39 ; t
all mished together
everytime u use an apostrophe when you post out of barlesque?
i am sure you know how to get out of there
but for others
just click on this
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/U10713001
and then replace ITIWBS Unumber with your own...
i think its great folks are still making remarks about the shortcomings of barlesque
but dont stay anylonger than you have to to report?
its really visually confusilating
