Without material body...
My intro is frighteningly out of date...so I have put it in brackets until I get round to doing a new one!!!
(I am one with a very unpredictable mind. Sticking with one thing whether it is an idea, music artist, book etc is not something my brain allows me to do easily. As such, my current tastes do change quite frequently.
However, the mainstays are a love for photography, music that follows a tweaked out unusual sounding ambient but threatening sort of vibe. Pondering things a lot but naturally the subjects change frequently as well, so conclusions tend to be formed over quite a long period of mental chaos.
Currently I am listening to a lot of ambient/alternative hip hop particularly with social commentary. Current favorites include Mr. Lif's album I Phantom, Clue to Kalo's Come here when you sleepwalk, Odd Nosdram's No More Wig For Ohio, Buck 65 and some electronica like Cinematic Orchestra, stuff on Lex etc. Oh yeah and Reggae/Dub for chill out.
Most of the photo's I am taking are experiments with light, be it a reflection, sun light or ambient city scenes. I just did a collection of shots based around train travel my favorite is online here:

I love the fact that a photo taken on an SLR can only use what is there (maybe with some camera trickery!). It isn't adapted by computer or played around with on a digital camera. I like to try and look at things that are actually there in a different way from the eye may do naturally, currently the SLR is the best way I find to express this.
The picture is on a website I run with my brother (collective alias: bedlam). It’s a collective for artistic people of any nature and the premise behind it is to encourage a 'community' of artists to share skills, collaborate and generally meet like minded people to mull ideas over with. We have some really good artists on there and trying to get it off the ground constitutes quite a proportion of my spare time...worth it though. Check it out at www.carbonbased.co.uk Thanks.)
