Thanks for giving me such an informative welcome.I've been reading various postings and find them all great fun(yes, even the maths one posted today).Just a couple of questions. I've looked at the smileys but how do I add them to my conversation? Also, if I want to submit an entry for the Guide, is there an average length or can it be as long or short as I like? I haven't found a conversation yet that I'm burning to talk about but I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

The 'Search h2g2' button is there so you can find guide entries by other Reseachers on a myriad of things. If there isn't one on something you know about or are interested in researching you may like to check out the Writing-Guidelines before setting about creating one of your own
