The whole of the BBC message boards were targeted over the last few days by massive spamming. Thousands of post were removed. I am afraid those last few got left because of the massive task involved in removing so many, and were some of the least offensive.
Each post has to be removed individually, we cant remove post 45 to 250 for example in one go, so i am sorry they are still there.
It certainly wasnt personal, as i say all of the BBC boards were affected - h2g2 alone had 3000+ 
You are right, they are total 
s and ways to prevent this is being looked in to.
