I am the Poetic Gryphon, a fairly abnormal person who enjoys books, fine classical music, and winter.
I welcome you to this page. At the moment, I don't have much, but soon I will. Also, I know my friend would be happy if you visited his pages. Look up 'semiquaver.'

Music Reviews
As I said above, I am a classical music obsessee. Here you will find what I'm listening to, and why.
Motorhead:Yet again, we find an entry that is anything but classical. Maybe I should change my page to say music obsessee. This was a great intro to metal for me. (Thanks, Semiquaver.) Their famous 'Ace of Spades' is especially good.
The Talking Heads: Stop Making Sense: Here's another nonclassical CD. But I think it's pretty hard to dislike 'Take Me to the River,' 'Psycho Killer,' and 'BURNIN' DOWN THE HOUSE!' Ah, good times.
The Pines of Rome: I felt I had to put in some classical music, and besides, Ottorino Respighi is my new hero. This piece he wrote is absolutely brilliant. The fanfares are fanfarinsh. The Catacombs part is especially suspenseful. It's one of those pieces that is so interesting and varied that you really listen to it. Fortunately, I bought the CD for my dad for Christmas, so I always have it at hand.
