Hi Speckly. I (with Jodan's help)have a new project. I don't know if you ever visited 360, but it is about to fold. It was a great site for serious conversations on a variety of topics. I wanted a site where the 360 posters could stay together. I hope it is the sort of place you will enjoy. Anyway, here is the link. I hope you find time to check it out. And bring Fatty Lizzard.

Belated thanks for the invite
I'm really hoping this will be good for That lizard of mine. She hangs around on the outskirts and resists getting involved too much I think. She's shy and won't start conversations with anyone but me. I hope the Circle can be a place where she can get involved without fear of intellectual oneupmanship. That would be really good for her.
I hope the name change isn't too confusing. Speckly was only menat to be a temporary name because I couldn't think of anything when I signed up! I really should have changed it sooner.

I suspected that you were Speckly, but wasn't sure. Thanks for letting me know.
One thing I hate about so many sites is the constant attempt at one- upmanship (sp?) That doesn't look right. Anyway, I hope Fattylizard will feel comfortable at The Circle. We want it to be friendly and nonthreatening and a place where if you ask a serious question you will get a serious answer.

I really must put some sort of explanation for the change of name on my page. I should have done it yesterday but I was in work when the impulse to rearrange the furniture came over me.
Lizardy just read the canversation (we're at home so can't both log in) She says 'hello and thanks' and that she will try to get involved from work (she also says that she spends lots of time under rocks too ).
We both think it's a great idea. I think that with you running it there will be a serious and fun but non-agressive atmosphere. Great timing for us too. We're getting our intelligent heads back on, writing and studying more. And boy are we rusty. An environment where we can have good conversations about serious stuff of all sorts will be good for us.
