Hello Universal Granny!

No, they make endless jokes about having to avoid pre-menstrual wives/girlfriends. One of them is particularly good at immitating his wife when she is in that state, and I must admit he has got it down to a T. Expressions, gestures, snappy phrases! I have to keep a straight face and show solidarity with the girls, but he does make me laugh.
The other thing they accuse their womenfolk of is presenting them with lists of "things to do" when they get home from work! They sound SO hard-done-by!! Bless!
They all declare that sex is horrible and they don't like "that sort of thing" but two of them have got five children each!!! Now what does that tell you!
They moan a lot of the time, but if you close your eyes to who is actually moaning and imagine it is Eeyore then it is quite comical. When a despatch comes in, they are all grouped in one place dealing with it, like a little herd of Eeyores all gently moaning at each other.
Enough! Enough! I must go and be Christopher Robin (or should that be Christine Robin) and organise them as I have just heard the lorry arrive.
Take care UG

What are men like!!
I can never get my head round the way they think they're dying when they get a runny nose. And there I was thinking they were all macho!
I can see that the PMT jokes could be quite funny. Surely everyone makes fun of it in some way though?
I'll admit to not being a parent, but whyis it that blokes get the easy bit of the whole thing, and never seem to change nappies or anything?
I suppose they make fun of us, and we make fun of them in return.

Sounds fair to me
I am a parent and a grandparent. As a parent I did not have any help from my other half regarding nappies etc......... and in fact, I had even less when he left me for another woman when the girls were three and five!!
They are 31 and 33 now and parents themselves, but they have both landed on their feet with regards to help from their respective husbands. Both men cook, hoover and iron, both will do anything that the children need, and both my girls can happily leave them for a day and let the men look after them with no worries, although they don't do that too often.
Am I jealous, or what!!
Take care UG

I am impressed with their husbands! They're lucky.
I did hear that it was a thing with men up until only about 20-odd years ago, where they left it all to the wife and now they'll do it all. Like a generational thing. But who knows.
Just hope that if I ever marry and have kids, the man'll want to do things like cooking and changing nappies.
