Ah... no sushi then - just as well - I could never get my head around the idea of eating raw fish, delicacy as I am given to understand it is.
I take it this must be one of those designer shoppies that sell fashionable stuff at inflated prices, then? Ideal as a reference point I'd imagine!
Know what you mean about not wanting to get into a car after a prang, but a car is about the only way I can travel comfortably now - I dread the bus trips to the hospital for checkups - it's 2 buses, and a total of an hour each way being bone rattled about (and the bus to K&C NATURALLY has a huge steep step up to the driver's counter! God bless common sense and all who don't think about little old dears)
If I had a motor I could get there in 10 minutes (and OK, 15 minutes trying to reverse into a parking space)
George Bush and a pace maker... the idea is tempting.
'Twould almost be a public service, really, she says piously.
Never mind the hammer - perhaps a bit of chewing gum would do to keep the gear stick in place? Lets face it, chewing gum has GOT to have some form of use. Would an automatic have the same sort of gear box shape as a normal car? I'm wondering if the gates are a bit eroded. If you spend a lot of time on the country's biggest car park then maybe the idling mode is a bit weary.
I've never tinkered with an automatic's innards or fixed one. Actually, if I'm brutally honest, I've never mended ANY car, but I've definately fixed a few

Inflated prices indeed...at least from what I judge from the window.
If you're tempted on the Dubya angle..I could arrange a trip! Actually, I'm sure a lot of Americans would be happy to oblige too. A publice service as you say. There may even be a medal in it for you.
As for the car, I have taken it back to the SMART garage twice and they whistled for a bit and shook their heads and said it was "a common fault on rare occasions". No, I've no idea what thet means either.
It goes in again when I head off to New York, so this may finally be it! They have a guy coming over from Mercedes to look at it, apparently. Possibly with a Challenger tank.
Until then, the hammer is in your hands. There is even some chewing gum on the claw to "cushion" the blow...

I've sent you an E-mail which fills in the gaps you need; should expedite matters. We can discuss the situation there. Let me know in the usual way if you send anything in case I am working and miss it.

Generally OK.. back playing up a bit, otherwise.. well, its Thursday, and I'm alive. It'll do for now!
(And whats all this about being tied up? I can untie knots with my teeth I'll have you know!)
Yes... I think an e mail may well be in order - I'll go check my mail box.

I'm fine thanks, Mr Alpha. Thanks for asking and responding to my interrogatives.
So, dear fellow, shall we start afresh?
