Is there still a position open on your 9th Dr Arc?

There is indeed Lance, tell me though? I had presumed that your story days on Time and Space were somewhat... rare now?

Oh. Well, I did say that.

But I do still have an idea that I think may be interesting ... I don't have a specific Doctor in mind, just a basic story. It does involve a flashback sequence (to Season 18) and as such a short bit with the Fourth Doctor, but no actual "meeting of the Doctors" or any such occurance.

Is there a character outline of your Ninth Doctor that I'll have to follow? What does he wear? Will I have to fit a particular companion in, or will I have a free reign to just use the 9th Dr?

I was thinking Gary Oldman when I wrote it, there is no companion as such for the moment but who knows what others will bring?

As for what he wears- a tweed jacket and grey casual trousers, polished brown shoes, a grey waitcoat and white shirt with a bow tie.

A person who likes to point out mistakes that people make, he's fiercely compassionate about his beliefs, a pacifist with a few interesting talents. He exploits his power of appearing out of time to affect people's moods, he's a scientist and often considers the consequences.

As for enemies- Daleks were a one off, new villains- thought you might like that? No continuity so you have freedom to work with, make it colourful and different, a different story should have a new environment. Andrew doing a UNIT story with a twist apparently?

The Twist for me was having Minuet in Hell, in America with the Brigadier added, the time zone clearly not 70s but into the next century. This creates a new outlook to brighter stories, Before it was:

R101 over the channel- an airship, a spaceship- deep space far future, Venice in the 23rd century, America 21st century.


Let us therefore have a contrast to what will take place where, try to have as many different scenarioes during each story?

I too have another story in me and perhaps sometime I might decide to write it for the ninth Doctor?

Though whatever the result- I pray that it's a hit?
