Lance, now that you've left the boards... I believe you might be wondering what to do?
Since a lot of people like you, you have touched their lives with so much lightness- I mean that! You've never ever so much as raised your voice in the time I've known you and I know that you've maid your final decision about going on the Boards but with little other places to go where will you go?
If you're interested there is always Skaro or Outpost Gallifrey to hang around though it doesn't and won't hold the same atmosphere as the Boards held.
Twice I decided to vacate the Boards and twice I returned. There is nothing to shame about doing this, I knew that by giving in then they would win but resisting I proved more than a match for them.
The same advice I leave to you, it's your decision of course?
As for lurking around here I am entering old favourites onto Nth Dimension so if you're bored at all- A rarity I've discovered then look no further than here and Doctor who fiction.
Not to worry Lance, we treat our comrades here with respect, please be patient while I pop downstairs to the cryogenics unit and reactivate a few Cybermen. These troublemakers aren't going start again!
You have my word on that!

Good day to you, Richard.
I've no intention to return there anytime soon. Having skimmed over the replies in my thread, I notice a few people giving the half-hearted "He'll be back in such-and-such" type comments. I have absolutely no intention of giving them that satisfaction.
The worst part of it all is that I genuniely meant what I said about the three new people, about not having been able to "click" with them (entirely due to their not letting me). And, naturally, they replied with the expected nasty comments about me. I swear that I've never treated them at all badly, but if they want to object to things beyond their comprehension while posting inane, off-topic rubbish then they can have the boards. As I said, I want no part of that.
I'll miss those I can't talk to by Email terribly (David Smith springs immediately to mind), but that's how it must be. My resolution is set and I won't back down from it. Tis not the man that I am.
Feel free to talk with me via. Email or on here anytime you like though.
On a higher note, the weather outside today is quite good, comparably, so I'm off out for a walk in a few minutes time.
Take care,
Lance

So I wasn't mistaken as were a few others who believe that you've wound them up for no good reasons. I know who you mean, I've seen what they can do.
Because of this do you want me to contact one or two of them- David{Anyone for a kipper} Smith, John Winterton, tell them where you are or will be or do you wish to remain anony-nony-nonamous?
The Boards will not be the same without you- so if this is not too personal where would you go now?
There are a few such places that I can think of but you won't receive the same frission that you held on those Boards?
As for contacting, whenever, wherever I shall try not to 'bug' you that much, though if you has Messenger- I believe a great many of us have then things would work still?
Anyway it's good to talk to you again.
Chin up
Richard.

I think I'd like to keep a distance from them for now. From it all. Not yourself or the others logged on here at h2g2, of course.
You can be rest assured I am not 'winding anybody up', although I can understand why people might think it is the case. I really am going to keep away from the BBCi boards. Believe me, if I had no real intention of leaving permanantly I really wouldn't have bothered posting a 'Finale' thread. I would have just slipped away, and came back another day. As I have in the past.
I'll be posting on Andrew's forum, and here. Nowhere else really. I have got an account on Outpost Gallifrey, but I never go there.
See you in the soup (whatever that means),
Lance

Have you ever considered Skaro? Not quite the same atmosphere as the Boards and a bit less crowded then Gallifrey but still a bit of a home from home.
Although there are a few familiar faces- Caroline, Augustus, Roy, Bob, James, myself, Martin, Christian{Hurricane} and once or twice-Pamela and Wayne.
Just a thought-really?
Oh and no annoying posters or trolls are allowed, the moderators are elected- not faceless deities who work in secret or secretly don't work !
Also I think it's time that some of us did move on- the 'Alert a Moderator' has become 'You wish to complain about this post' can this mean that the Moderators have abandoned them?
Answers to my address with ten pounds and the answer and you receive a free yoghurt poy minus yoghurt content full of growbag earth past its prime and a mouldy cheese and onion crisp.
Key: Complain about this post
