goedemiddag
Hello All, I am Steve and I have been living in The Netherlands for the past year and a half. Just about all the Dutch I know is in my intro (I can see you are impressed) No I can understand quite a bit but its the speaking that I have difficulty with. Did you know that the letter 'G' is pronounced like the 'ch' in Loch said by a Scotsman with a heavy cold trying to clear his throat? Unless it comes after 'N' of course then they say it properly like wot we English does.
I remember Hitchhikers being on the radio just after I left the Army, which I had spent 6years and 96days (roughly) in, this of course just to give you some idea of how ancient I am.
Anyways I am going to have a look around this place to see if there is anything I can contribute, hope to hear from some of you later.
Rgeards
Steve

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
