Crossing GFW - normal service will return in mid July
In that case surely has become pale. Jack the Cat is white with red orange markings on head and back as well as red and ginger striped tail. I will post a photo of him when I'm back home.
He is appr. one year old and was rescued from at pet shop by a friend of princess when he was like six weeks old. When his previous owner moved out of town this winter Jack the Cat moved in with princess, and now he will get a new home again. Probably his new family will pick him up Friday evening.
He is a very talented In spite of his youth he already speaks four languages: Chinese, German, English and Swedish. Now he will learn Tagalog as well.

Crossing GFW - normal service will return in mid July
Jack the Cat moved to his new home yesterday.
He will be learning Dutch as well. His new owners are a Dutch-Filipino couple, so he will be hexa- lingual Chinese, German, English, Swedish, Tagalog and Dutch...
We got an unexpected visit late yesterday evening.
Jack the Other Cat (they don't seem to have much fantasy in naming cats here...) paid us a visit. He is a tomcat, part of the feral colony at Campus. Probably he once was a pet, since he not by any means shy. princess has been caring for him since she moved here last year. Guess his just a couple of years old since he seemingly has got all his teeth unharmed. He used to beat the top of the food chain, but during the last months he has not been doing well and is skinny and scarred.
He was covered with some nasty stuff, so he got a proper bath. Not that very popular... then he was dewormed, had a few minor injuries overseen and was fed. I don't think I've ever seen a cat empty a bowl in such haste
That was about as much pampering this once so proud and entirely white tomcat could take, and he went out in the rain again.
