I have, in fact, fasted. I can say that I was very hungry, and felt quite weak towards the end of the day.
Also, if I don't eat something high in energy (like a banana) about an hour before I exercise, I can't exercise anywhere near as well. I feel tired more quickly and get out of breath faster, and feel much weaker once I finish. And by no means do I have no fat reserves!
So how does your theory explain my experiences?

How are things I have experienced not scientific? And things you have experienced are? I've said, many times I've tried exercising when I've forgotten to eat something beforehand and it doesn't work. And sometimes I don't even remember I forgot to eat something until I get tired and wonder why. This just can't be explained by your theory, and I know it's not unique to me. I don't understand how this is fanciful and not scientific.

I agree that not eating regularly is unhealthy, energy aside there are plenty of other things we need from food. Plus, eating is such an enjoyable thing, I can't understand why anyone would want to cut down on the number of times they do it. I'm looking forward to teatime already!

I don't see how lengthy fasts have anything to do with what you're saying. If you're not eating at all, you're drawing on your energy reserves. That's obvious, and fits both with established scientific principals (as well as with your ideas). Surely the only way your ideas conflict with established science is when you eat, and whether the energy taken in is used straight away or is put in reserves?
How you reconcile the above is beyond my abilities. How a thinking person can support the view that a biochemical system can have a duel mode of operation (with NO parallel in the entire universe) is incomprehensible to me and I’m a retired member of Mensa (a gathering of people whom allegedly ‘can think straight’). I suppose I’m senile now and nobody told me.
